Strengthening leadership & overcoming disadvantage

Leadership has been identified as one of the seven building blocks required to ‘Close the Gap’ and, as a result, there is an imperative on all organisations to work towards strengthening it. The question is: How do we do this most effectively?

The 2nd Annual Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Leadership Conference has been designed to answer this question. It will do this through a series of presentations from some of Australia’s most inspiring Indigenous leaders and from those organisations making significant progress in this space. With a special focus on strengthening leadership in young people, communities and in organisations (particularly Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander controlled) this conference will provide you with the information and inspiration you need to take initiatives forward.
